Business Description
Bonfield Organics was founded this spring of 2011 By Tony Lott. This is our first year as an organic producer of fruit and vegetables here on our farm in Bonfield IL. The farm rests gentle on 22 acres, and the garden it's self resides on 1.5 acres of old hay ground which has been free of any checmicals for the last 9 years. It was row cropped prior to the hay. The garden now growing on this ground will continue to be maintained as chemical free.
I have been a grower of fruits and vegetables for many years, and am excited to get back into large scale production and bring wholesome produce to you, my friends. This start up year has run along side me keeping a fulltime job with Illinois Department Of Natural Resources. As we grow and set roots here, it is my hope over the next year or two to transition into gardening full time.
